A selection of international fiction, documentary and animation features. A free approach to cinematographic language, without distinctions between genres, leaving an open door to all kinds of proposals and formal hybrids. A competitive section for the last productions of directors with less than three films in their trajectory. The «Feature Film International Competition» reunite films that represent altogether the wide variety of contemporary cinema.

Latin American Premier
The «Feature Film International Competition» draws the curatorial path of FICUNAM, it defines the festival's objective as an alternative exhibition platform and it propose a a line to form audiences around cinema appreciated as an art form.
The Jury will give the Puma de Plata to Best Film (with $100,000 pesos M.N.) and the Puma de Plata to Best Director (with $100,000 pesos M.N.). Also the public will vote for the Audience Award.
